| The Cool Pool Racing Allstar Challenge will again take place in 2011! There will be two separate races, with all 43 of our Cup Series players eligible for one or the other. The All Star Challenge will consist of all race winners during the 2010 and 2011 seasons in the Cool Pool Racing Sprint Cup Series, along with any past Cool Pool Sprint Cup Champions and All Star Race winners in the past 10 years. The All Star Open will consist of players who are in the 2011 point standings, but don't qualify for the race as a 2010 or 2011 race winner. This page is your one stop for all information about the Cool Pool Racing All Star Challenge. Groups All players submit picks for the All Star Race, whether you're eligible or not. Those who are not eligible will run the "Showdown" event, and the highest two players scores will move into the All Star Race. In the past, we have had two sets of picks for this race, but this year every player will submit from the same groups. If you have any questions, let us know! Simply put, just send picks like you normally would each week from the "Groups" link on the main racing page, or the "All Star Groups" link on the right side of this page. Rules The rules are simple, pick one driver from each of the groups posted. At the end of the race, each driver will receive the points for their position, and your scores will be added up. The two players with the highest score in the Showdown will have their picks transferred to the All Star Race. The winner of the All Star Race will be the player who scores the most points with their five picks. Ties will be broke by: 1. Your tie breaker pick. Whoever's driver finishes higher. 2. Whoever is higher in Sprint Cup Series 2011 Points (If both players pick the same tie breaker driver). If you're not eligible for the Challenge race, you still need to send picks.
