| 2009 Season In Review The Baseball Cool Pool's sixth season began with a similar look, but a new format. Records are still team records, however instead of changing teams every month, we were to pick new teams every other week. Also, there was a new bonus point feature added to the rules that gave anywhere from 1 to 3 bonus wins per month. The bonus point structure: April: Pick a hitter. 7-11 HRs is worth 1 bonus win. 12-15 HRs is worth 2 bonus wins. 16+ HRs is worth 3 bonus wins. May: Pick a closer. 4-7 saves is worth 1 bonus win. 8-12 saves is worth 2 bonus wins. 13+ saves is worth 3 bonus wins. June: Pick a baserunner. 5-9 steals is worth 1 bonus win. 10-14 steals is worth 2 bonus wins. 15+ steals is worth 3 bonus wins. July: Pick a starting pitcher. 3 wins is worth 1 bonus win. 4 wins is worth 2 bonus wins. 5+ wins is worth 3 bonus wins. We Have A Champion! Congratulations to Kevin Sullivan, the 2009 Baseball Cool Pool Champion! Kevin beats Lou Demian two games to none in the best of three world series. More to come! Playoff Picks 2009 Playoff Bracket |
